Court Administrator Blegen : What are the actual court costs (wages for staff & judges, cost for supplies, special security, etc) for the political circus called case No. 69DU-CR-12-3443, State of Minnesota vs. Duluth Police Officer Richard Thomas Jouppi? I want to know how much your court is spending on direct and indirect cost for this sham trial. Must be a pretty penny for Ofcr. “Thugo” Jouppi's rigged trial, huh? The “sweetheart treatment” is expensive, isn't it? What is the grand total? You can email me this data to save time and money.

I was told by hospital staff the laceration on his forehead was indeed an old injury which they has patched up last week, gluing it to stop the bleeding. It appeared to them this time that it had opened back up again and due to the that fact, they would be stitching this time. ICR#: 12185014, page 3 of 3.

Mr. Nemmers,

For many reasons, including that courts tend to handle many cases in a single day, we do not provide cost estimates for individual court proceedings.
Thank you.

Court Administrator Blegen:
Thank you for your prompt response. The political circus called case No. 69DU-CR-12-3443, State of Minnesota vs. Duluth Police Officer Richard Thomas Jouppi held in Pine Co. Courtroom A isn't an ordinary case, is it? It isn't, is it? It is actually a high profile cases, isn't it? It is, isn't it? And because the prosecutor was caught rigging the case to aid & abet Jouppi it was booted out of St. Louis County, wasn't it? So this isn't your average traffic ticket case, is it? And like other money making operations you have software to generate reports, don't you? And those reports deal with time management issues, don't they? Because time is money, right? So please forward my data request to the appropriate authority who crunches your numbers. If you don't want to do that, then I would be more than happy to file a complaint with the Minnesota Board on Judicial Standards against Judge John DeSanto, wouldn't I?

Rule changes designed to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of civil case processing in Minnesota will soon take effect, with implications for filing, discovery, motion practice and case management, among other issues, in Minnesota civil litigation. On July 1, 2013, several significant changes take place in how the Minnesota courts handle civil litigation. These changes will have some impact on all civil litigation but will directly affect other than family civil cases most dramatically. The changes to the Rules of Civil Procedure and General Rules of Practice are designed to make the district courts more efficient and accessible by reducing pretrial cost and delay. The rule amendments are grounded in the notion that cases are not created equal and discovery and judicial management should be proportionate to the needs of the particular case.
