It would appear that I have made a lasting impression on Polk County and the City of Crookston, wouldn't it?
Both Polk County and the City of Crookston thought that they could just ignore me and I would just slink away like John Q. Public or Joe Sixpack, didn't they?
But that didn't happen, did it?
It didn't, did it?
Wishful and delusional thinking on their part, wasn't it?
And it would also appear that my last round with the City of Crookston forced a couple of so-called retirements (Forced retirements, right?) and a firing, wouldn't it?
About 18 months of a mostly
embattled tenure as city administrator, Tony Chladek has been
terminated. The Crookston City Council voted 6-1 Monday evening, with
Tom Vedbraaten voting against and new appointee Gary Will white
abstaining. Chladek fired as
city administrator. Melbye
makes motion, Johnson seconds it. Vedbraaten is only vote against;

The search within the Crookston
Police Department to find a successor t o retiring Police Chief Tim
Motherway has produced two
candidates, Lt. Gene Wisness and Patrol Sgt. Paul Biermaier,
both of
whom will be interviewed on Monday,
July 29. Wisness, Biermaier will interview July 29 to be new
Crookston police chief - Both have been leaders in the department for

Biermaier, currently patrol
sergeant, was previously detective sergeant at the CPD, where he's
been for 23 years and change. When current Police Chief Tim
Motherway, 52, announced earlier this summer that he was retiring
as chief to take a regional coordinator position with the
National Child Safety Council, the Crookston City Council decided to
look internally for a successor with the goal of finding qualified
candidates within the department and avoiding an external search for
a new chief. Biermaier and longtime CPD Lt. Gene Wisness applied
and both were subsequently interviewed this past Monday by a panel
consisting of various city officials, council members and the police
chiefs from East
Grand Forks and Bemidji. Humbled

Selzler succeeded Gene Wisness, who
retired on Aug. 30. Mayor Dave Genereux and
Motherway presented Wisness with a plaque from the City of Crookston
thanking him for his 18 years of service. Wisness recognized,
Selzler officially pinned as new CPD lieutenant - Wisness was

So it would appear that I helped to get rid of a few of Crookston's corrupt city officials, wouldn't it?
So it should be interesting to see how many are forced to "retire" or are fired this round, shouldn't it?
