Council members received a letter from former city clerk Andrea Swenson about a dispute over a payment made to her. It was decided to send the claim to the Steven’s County Sheriff's Office with the council members all voting in favor and Mayor Bruce Malo voting against. Final item, the $4,000 check issued in April 2013 has been discussed with the city attorney which resulted in the finding that the next step will be to file a Criminal Investigation with the Sherriff’s office. There is no way to estimate what the cost will be once this process is started. Ver Steeg suggested that a letter be sent to the previous clerk asking for proof of the agreement for the check in question before filing with the Sherriff’s Office. Starbuck's Clerk/Treasurer Andrea Swenson has willfully refused to send out council tapes and public documents regarding the appointment of the City of Starbuck's legal council, hasn't she? of sending out public data? Over the same period of time Starbuck's Clerk/Treasurer Andrea Swenson asked for and received public information from the City of Hancock council tapes and public documents in regard to the theft of the $4000 of the public's money, didn't she? She did, didn't she?

Regarding the issue of the $4,000.00 insurance check that was printed in April 2013 by the prior city clerk, Andrea Swenson, Swenson had been sent a letter asking for document proof the approval of the check in question. Ver Steeg stated that Swenson had contacted her requesting documents and council tapes. Per MN Statute, Chapter 13 – an invoice was sent for the information and requesting information will be given once payment is received. Swenson also asked to have until February 21st 2014 to review the information which the council allowed. Starbuck's Clerk/Treasurer Andrea Swenson is a common criminal and should be:

1. Fired, right? That's right, isn't it? It is, isn't it?

2. Prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, right? That's right, isn't it? It is, isn't it?

2013 Minnesota Statutes 13.09 PENALTIES. Any person who willfully violates the provisions of this chapter or any rules adopted under this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor. Willful violation of this chapter by any public employee constitutes just cause for suspension without pay or dismissal of the public employee.

You should demand that the City of Starbuck's book be audited for fraud (Forensic Audit), shouldn't you? You should, shouldn't you?
