NARRATIVE On March 8, 2017, I, Sergeant Matt Wayne, badge number 152, received an email from Captain Bianconi to look into tweets possibly from Sandra Sue Grazzini-Rucki DOB/1965-09-30 coming from a Twitter profile @Jonsonmedia2. [ Psst It's Actually @Johnsonmedia2, isn't it?] The tweets were of different court staff, David Victor Rucki date of birth 02-03-1963 and Edward Charles Straight, date of birth 12-21-1946. Deputy Qualy spoke to court staff included in the tweets and his report will be attached to this case file. On April 3, 2017 I spoke to Mr. Straight on the phone regarding tweets concerning him. Mr. Straight stated he viewed two tweets with his picture stating the following, "#grazzinirucki Allegedly "Eddie"Straight Lakeville MN has been named in numerous scams & crimes involving children" and "Will Lakeville Mn finally stop crimes against our children starting with "Ed" Straight of Mn...sick #grazzinirucki@DakotaCountyMN". Mr. Straight stated he has never been involved or charged with any crimes against children. I ran Mr. Straights name in the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension website and did not find any convictions on his public record. Mr. Straight believes Ms. Grazzini-Rucki is writing these tweets because he went to a trial she was a defendant in. He stated Ms. Grazzini-Rucki called him Eddie. Mr. Straight stated the picture of him on the tweets is from a vacation he took and said the picture was on his wife's Facebook account. 5th, 2017 at 1345 hours. The document was sent to Twitter for subscriber information, expanded subscriber content, tweets, photos, following/followers list, direct messages, IP logs, locations, email address associated with the account and all other stored information available associated with this Twitter account. After receiving the information back from Twitter I attempted to subpoena the phone number from the account and the IP any information on the phone number and I was told the IP address can be used by multiple users at one time. A list of phone numbers using the IP address was close to 700. While looking at the Twitter page @Johnsonmedia2 I observed multiple different tweets in reference to David Victor Rucki DOB/1963-02-03. In the emails I received about this case, one was from Mr. Rucki stating why he thinks @johnsonmedia2 is Ms. Grazzini- Rucki. Most of those tweets were stating Mr. Rucki was abusive or alleging other crimes. There were also Twitter pages from @KnaughtyDavid and @Daniell38291123 stating the same type of tweets. address at the time the tweets about Mr. Straight were used. This report details contact with Judge Knutson at the Court Security Station concerning postings on Twitter.
NARRATIVE On Thursday February 8th 2018 at approximately 16:20, Judge Knutson came to the Court Security Station looking for Sergeant Pederson. He Stated the Grazzini-Rucki people were at it again and he needed to know who to contact at the sheriff's office to get a letter sent to Twitter about taking down a post. He said that they were going to post something about him being caught with a 12 year old boy. I advised him that Sergeant Pederson had left for the day and I would check to see who he could talk to. I called Captain Bianconi who advised to call Sergeant Wayne. I called Sergeant Wayne and gave him a brief idea of the situation. I then handed the phone to Judge Knutson. Judge Knutson spoke with Sergeant Wayne and when was done he handed the phone back to me and left in the direction of his chambers.
On February 12th 2018, Sergeant Pederson emailed copies of the Twitter post to me. The one from Jane Johnson dated February 7th advises Judge Knutson that his days are numbered and to watch his back. The second posting shows a a photo taken in the courtroom of a female in handcuffs and is a an invitation to meet investigative reporter Michael Volpe hosted by Sandra Grazzini-Rucki on April 19th. The Third posting, also by Jane Johnson dated February 7 2018 has a photo of Judge Knutson and states that the judge was caught on tape having sex with a twelve year old boy and that there will be more to come including graphic pictures. Copies of the postings will also be forwarded to Investigations. Please forward to Investigations for their review and follow up. End of report
