Under the three year contract, Lahn will start at a salary of $127,000 per year. His salary will increase to $130,000 in the second year and $132,000 in the third year. Lahn will also have the option to earn a performance bonus of up to $5,000 per year based on goals set in conjunction with the board.  Board member Brent Fuhrman asked how the salary compared to other similarly-sized districts. Solvie said it's on the lower end of the salary range, but Lahn was comfortable with it.  "He came from a pretty high salary in Alexandria — he wasn't asking for that when he came in," Solvie said.
