NARRATIVE/ELEMENTS:
On 11/17/15, I was requested by Det. Dronen to review calls placed by Sandra Grazzini-Rucki from the Osceola County Jail between the dates of October 18th to October 29th 2015. I was provided a CD that he had obtained from Osceola County and for the next several shifts I documented who was called and what the topics of conversation were about. In total there was 14.5 hours of calls placed. This compiled log was forwarded to Det. Dronen for his review to determine if there was any usable evidentiary discussions between those people who may have helped hide or conceal the Rucki children.

NARRATIVE/ELEMENTS: On 062216 at 1430 hours I received an email from David Rucki containing an [secret] audio recording. I spoke with David on the phone and he explained to me that the recording was a conversation that Michael Brodkorb [ABC 20/20 "Footprint In The Snow" Star/Former Star Tribune Hack Brodkorb, right?] recorded [not reported in Brodkorb's Star Tribune article, right?] between himself (Brodkorb) and Dede Evavold. He said the conversation was had in September of 2015. I listened to the recording and the following highlights the conversation:
Dede said when she answered the phone she thought it was Michael Rhedin calling and would not have answered knowing if it was Brodkorb.
Dede said that David Rucki is a “pawn in all of this,” and it’s a dirty system. She said she felt bad for the entire family, including David.
Dede said Sandra has not told “us” where she is for a reason.
Dede questioned why there was never an Amber alert for the Rucki girls when they first went missing.
Dede hopes that good people will come forward and resolve all of this.
Dede said that the only way the Rucki case will be resolved is if the public knows the truth. She stated that she believes that Sandra had nothing to do with the two girls missing, and added “unless she’s (Sandra) a really good liar”
Dede explained that Sandra is off on her own and it is a horrible way to live. She added that David Rucki is harmed as well and doesn’t have a life either.
They spoke about Dale Nathan. Dede said that Dale has done a lot of good things, but his story has a lot of gaps. She doesn’t know if she believes that Dale was or was not with Sandra on the day the Rucki girls went missing.
Dede did not know how the girls got to the interview for Fox9.
Dede said she did not know if the girls were alive, and that has kept Sandra fermented, a lot.
Dede added that if they are out there, they are resourceful. And questioned if they were in school, or possibly in Arizona with David Rucki’s parents.
Information was given to Michael Brodkorb that after the night they disappeared the girls, they went to the St. Cloud area. Dede was asked if that was true, she responded that she had to laugh because that is what Dale said, She added that “Sam” stayed with Dede, but not the girls.
Dede stated she has paid a heavy price for being involved with Sandra.
Also note that David Rucki told me while on the phone with him that he has a conversation with Samantha Rucki, the oldest daughter, recently about when she went missing. He said he asked her only one question because she gets upset to talk about when she was missing. He asked her where her and her sister stayed the first night they went missing, and Samantha told David they stayed at Dede’s house.

Grazzini-Rucki said her attorney gave her a stack of papers which he got in the discovery process and in checking those paper, this police report was not included. ... If Sandra Grazzini-Rucki’s attorney, Steve Grigsby, received this police report, did not provide it to his client and didn’t use it, this would constitute “ineffective counsel.” Either way, under normal circumstances, the conviction would be thrown out, but nothing has been normal in this case.
